Your privacy.
YakArcade is operated by Yakware. This page explains how the arcade uses information when you browse, create an optional account, or save progress.
Playing without an account
You can browse and play as a guest. Games may save progress and preferences in your browser. Essential storage includes account sessions, guest identifiers, your theme preference, and game saves. Blocking storage may prevent those features from persisting.
Optional accounts
When you choose to register, we store your email address, account information, and authentication records. Passwords are hashed. Google and Discord sign-in provide the identity information needed to authenticate you; linking another identity requires your permission.
Game progress
Supported games store signed-in saves against your account. Each game keeps its own progress and inventory. Linking an existing game account requires proof that it belongs to you. My Arcade lets you export or delete your YakArcade account and its central cloud saves. Existing game profiles and platform account records are handled separately; contact us for help with those records.
Advertising and choices
Advertising remains disabled until publisher approval and the required consent setup are configured. When enabled, Google advertising may use cookies or similar technologies subject to your choices. Use Privacy choices in the footer to review available consent settings. Refusing advertising consent does not prevent ordinary play.
Children’s games
Games marked as child-directed use guest-only play and do not enable YakArcade accounts or advertising. Their local progress stays in the browser.
Hosting and operations
Our hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the service. Technical security logs may include request timestamps, network addresses, and errors. We do not put authentication tokens or passwords in application logs.
Contact and deletion
Contact hello@yakarcade.io for privacy questions or deletion help. Before public launch, this notice will be checked against the services and retention settings actually enabled.
